@republicofsandles – yes addictions are definitely about escaping to face
ourselves here – wherein we don’t realize that the only way to stop these
experiences is to actually face ourselves and face the fear Directly and
within that “bring ourselves back” – Here.
Superb! You speak for many on the addiction part (same with me) – for a
replacement of the physical component and the energy that flows within this
virtual environment. Thanks for sharing Anna. Stop the mind – switch off
the INTERNET 😛 (kidding…?!).
@SoOutThere – Yeah it is not about switching the internet of, although for
some it might be necessary for a moment. It is about us Directing ourselves
instead being Directed by and as Energy in Self-Interest
Thank you Anna
I’ve been there also…what assisted an supported me is that i went outside
up to the hill with only clothes on…and been there…just breathing…and
waiting…the mind first just waits…then after some time it tries to get
you back to your addiction…in our case FB, internet, mailing…by making
kind of thoughts like why am i wasting time with this?, i could do … now.
and such. if you stand there you can move forward and go and sit in front
the computer off, and doing the same.
Cool Anna, I’ve also faced this point extensively – especially with my
music, but also with posts and vlogs. Very cool to push through.
Thanks for sharing this point Anna
@MartinPlanner2 – And so we Stop, Discipline and Correct Ourselves – to be
the Directive Principle of Ourselves – that Direct Ourselves All-Ways
According to What is Best For All, as All as One as Equal as Life.
I got rid of Facebook over two and a half years ago. I like YouTube much
@annabrixthomsen You are correct!
Hey Ann this is so exactly the same as what I do” i’m all the time cheking
fb, chat, comments, etc just…. addiction, really i see that it’s pretty
easy to stop this pattern snd addiction, it’s easier than sugar lol! i was
as¡ddicted to see a girl’s profile, which was my friend and now i checked
her to knew about her but it was soooo so so bullshiting
Really cool & practical point to take on & share – thank you – definitely
self supporting self supporting others. yeah – we’ve got to equalize
ourselves to the tools that are here for us to utilize in ‘spreading
equality’ – thus, not abusing the tools & allowing them to become a ‘weapon
of mass destruction’ w/in separation as personality & addiction to energy.
I also relate to that point of not trusting that i’m pushing through a
point – i’m letting that go & embracing self-enjoyment = cool!
i too have noticed i would get a ‘high’ when someone liked a comment of
mine or liked my status. and for me it does come from issues of self-worth.
thanks for sharing anna!
For a time I was addicted to computer games. It’s much less of an issue
now. In short my life feels easier now, so escapism seems much less
@annabrixthomsen exactly…just run out of char space 😀
Very cool thanks for sharing, I need to start talking to the camera too it
Self appreciation, self acceptance – cool points to take on definitely –
and thanks for sharing on this. I utilize the internet as a mere constant
newspaper-moving points media which is then how people that truly are in FB
just to see what goes on may catch and stumble upon let’s say for example
this video and then realize oh! man! I’ve been missing-myself all this
time. So it’s always about us, not the internet indeed or fb or anything
else – but who we are within it. Thanks Anna
@BananaJSSI – All addictions are the same and none are ‘better’ than
others. There is simply no point to it – Rather Apply the tools of
Self-Honesty and Self-Forgiveness through Writing to Stop all addictions.
