The Federal Government spends over billion dollars per year in the War on Drugs — almost 0 every second — and we have lost. The reason for this fail…

Yes meth, coke, crack, heroine, pcp, & f’n ?bath salts? wtf? are crazy in the wrong hands….heroine and coke are used in medicine & old Colombian ladies chew coca leaves so that I can’t say if that is not a possible recreational thing, b/c it takes a ton of those leaves to get just 1oz of coke, or so I’ve seen in documentaries. Pot is the only one I can see as being on par with alcohol simply because if your a dumb shit on MJ driving, it’s not good. TBH the pushers today are pharmaceutical CEOs
Yes, I agree, but I thought they meant legalize everything.
I grew up from the 50’s to 70’s. I saw more than enough of what the major stuff does to people, even lost friends to it as in they died.
It’s a medical/mental problem that they laws we have, the way they enforce them only makes it all far worse so yes I heartily agree that decriminalization is a better route by far.
No, decriminalize. There is a difference.
Their not in my mind. Their in wall street and acting as the US government.
If USGov spends 22K incarcerating prisoners, yet the person, who works 40 hours a week @ minimum wage makes less then 16K BEFORE taxes, WTF is wrong with that picture? If you didn’t murder, attempt or aid in murder of an innocent person (Including RX Co.’s that sell new lethal drugs through MD’s who are getting kickbacks), or steal from a large group of people (bailouts); why the fuck should you be wasting tax dollars in jail when you could raise minimum wage and help people?
Decriminalize not legalize. In countries that have decriminalized all drugs (ex: portugal) addiction rates dropped, crime rates dropped and less people are incarcerated.
well ok that works you just stick to that statement and the whole country will be waving little american flags soon enough but where are the terrorists now? theyre hiding in the mind of every american thanks to this environment of fear and propaganda
They want to legalize heroin and cocaine?

but if they were decriminalized, many drugs would move from funding crime and other organizations to corporations and pharmaceutical producers and sales users, certain drugs which already have major production in other countries (as you’ve suggested) like herion under control of those organizations.
if a drug is legal, the means to produce and acquire it will slowly become legalized too, and generally speaking, corporations don’t like dealing openly with terrorists.
And we have troops in Afghanistan actually guarding poppy fields. Yay, war on drugs! You know, for the little people anyway.
Well the majority of the world’s heroine comes from afghanistan where Taliban linked to al qaeda force farmers to grow poppies in order to produce mass quantities of heroine to fund their insurgency. Educate yourself.
Keep hiding under your bed from the evil terrorists. The terrorism scare will be the death of American as we know it.
Drugs fund terrorists, we need them out.
Whoa, it is too bad this has so few views. It is very persuasive. Liked. It could also be pointed out that full decriminalization would bankrupt the cartels within a decade, or at least vastly reduce their power.
