Wilton candy melts tend to work better, just because that is one of their purposes. SO try that and it should work better. Also if you look up recipes for candy clay it should help you.

Can you use candy melts?
Please help. I tried this 2 times now and both time it ends up with little pebble like pieces of white chocolate and is not smooth. you see the pieces way more when you color the chocolate. I did it exactly the way you showed us could it be my chocolate? I use bakers chocolate.

I’m guessing it’s probably best to use white chocolate, because if you try and colour milk chocolate it’ll be left looking kinda muddy and the white chocolate help the colours stand out more
can you add liquid food colloring to the melted chocolate to colour it and still get the same result? And I live in the netherlands and I have no idea what alternative to use for the glucose syrup, does anyone know? thanks xx!
